Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 1 ½ ounces Johnnie Walker
Blue Label scotch
o 1 ounce Ilegal mezcal
o ½ ounce Bénédictine D.O.M.
o 1 dash Peychaud’s bitters or
to taste
Garnish
o apple slice
Method:
1. Stir cocktail ingredients
over ice in a mixing glass.
2. Serve over ice in an
Old-Fashioned glass.
3. Garnish with thin apple
slice.
Comments:
This is very similar to the Good
Cork cocktail from the East
Village Mayahuel Bar. Using a
peat dried single malt scotch
would make a significant
difference when paired with
the smokiness of mezcal.
