Apple Strudel & Brandy Cocktail

(Serves Two)

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o sugar

o 1 cup apple cider

o 1 cinnamon stick (one 5 inch

stick or two three-inch sticks)

broken

o 3 ounces Hennessey VS

Cognac

o 2 ounces Amaretto

Lazzaroni

o 2 ounces Madeira

o 2 ounces orgeat syrup

o 1 ounce fresh lemon juice

Garnish

o 2 dried apple slices


Method:

1. Moisten the rim of two

large cocktail glasses and

invert each into a shallow dish

of sugar to coat the rim.

2. Combine cider and

cinnamon in a saucepan and

bring to a boil.

3. Turn off heat and let cool.

4. Shake cider and remaining

cocktail ingredients over ice.

5. Strain into the prepared

glasses.

6. Garnish with dried apple

slices.


Comments:

This could certainly be called

a dessert cocktail but one that

should be enjoyed whenever

the need for strudel presents

itself.
