Bourbon Renewal Cocktail

Recipe

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 1 ½ ounces Jim Beam Bonded bourbon

o ½ ounce Crème de Cassis

o ¼ to ½ ounce fresh lemon juice

o 1 dash Angostura bitters or to taste

o 1 teaspoon Agave Simple

Syrup (see: Syrups etc.)

Method:

1. Shake cocktail ingredients

over ice.

2. Serve in an ice-filled

Old Fashioned glass.

Remarks:

This was found on the menu

of Portland’s Clyde Common

where apparently many went

in search of renewal.
