Ingredients:
o 1 cup water
o 1 ½ cups sugar
o 2-3 thyme sprigs
o 2-3 cinnamon sticks (3 inch)
Method:
1. Combine water and sugar
in a saucepan and bring to a
boil.
2. Reduce heat, add thyme
and cinnamon and simmer
uncovered stirring occasionally
until mixture reaches a syrup-
like consistency.
3. Fine strain into an airtight
container discarding the
solids.
4. Seal well and refrigerate.
