Daiquiri

PH factor: 8.0

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 2 ounces Flor de Caña Extra

Seco rum

o ¾ ounce plus 1 teaspoon

fresh lime juice

o ¾ ounce Simple Syrup

(see: Syrups etc.)

Garnish

o lime wheel

Method:

1. Shake cocktail ingredients

over ice.

2. Serve up in a cocktail glass.

3. Garnish with lime wheel

(optional).

Comments:

The original Daiquiri, created

in Cuba is a classic and simple

cocktail with more lime than

syrup. There are many

variations on this theme and

we tried them all. We liked

equal parts lime and simple

syrup though 1 ounce plus

1 teaspoon lime juice to ½

ounce Simple Syrup is closer to

the original.
