Ingredients:
o 1 cup water
o 1 cup sugar
o ¼ pound ginger peeled and
thinly sliced (about ¾ cup)
Method:
1. Combine water, ginger,
and sugar in a small saucepan
and simmer stirring until the
mixture reaches a syrup-like
consistency.
2. Remove from heat and let
cool.
3. Fine strain into an airtight
container discarding solids.
4. Seal well and refrigerate.
