It’s That Thyme of Year Cocktail

Recipe

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 1 ounce Finlandia vodka

o 1 ½ ounces Blandy's

5-Year-Old Malmsey Madeira

o 3 ounces apple cider

o ½ ounce fresh lemon juice

o ½ ounce fresh orange juice

o 2 teaspoons apricot jam

Garnish

o thyme sprig

Method:

1. Combine all but jam in a

saucepan and heat until warm

but do not boil.

2. Remove from heat, add jam

and stir to dissolve.

3. Strain into a glass mug.

4. Garnish with thyme sprig.

Remarks:

There is definitely a lot going on

in this cocktail, but it does come

together well. And having one

of these waiting for you is a very

compelling reason to come in out

of the cold.
