Comments:

Kawahori is the Japanese word

meaning “Mosquito eater” and

is thought to be the source for

the Japanese word for “bat”.

The region in Japan that is the

source of the plums for the

wine we use is also famous for

its bat or Koumori population.

We thought of naming this

drink the Koumori Cocktail

but decided that would be

batty.
