Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 1 brown sugar cube or
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
o ¾ ounce Calvados
o ¾ ounce Campari
o splash grenadine
o 5 ounces cold strong coffee
Garnish
o grapefruit peel
Method:
1. Place sugar cube into
cocktail glass.
2. Shake remaining cocktail
ingredients over ice.
3. Pour into the prepared
glass.
4. Garnish with grapefruit
peel.
Comments:
This demonstrates how the
acidity in coffee acts much like
citrus in taming the inherent
bitterness of Campari.
