Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 1 ½ ounces Mount Gay
Silver rum
o ¾ ounce Plymouth Sloe Gin
o ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
o 1 dash Simple Syrup
(see: Syrups etc.)
o 5 mint leaves smacked*
Garnish
o mint sprig
Method:
1. Shake cocktail ingredients
over ice.
2. Fine strain into a cocktail
glass.
3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Comments:
*Stack the mint leaves and fold
them into a package. Place it in
the palm of your hand and
smack it. This helps release the
essential oils in the mint
without creating the debris
associated with muddling.
