Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 1 ½ ounces Mount Gay
Silver rum
o ¾ ounce Plymouth Sloe Gin
o ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
o 1 dash Simple Syrup
(see: Syrups etc.)
o 5 mint leaves smacked*
Garnish
o mint sprig
Method:
1. Shake cocktail ingredients
over ice.
2. Fine strain into a cocktail
glass.
3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Comments:
*Pile the mint leaves. Fold into
a package. Place in the palm
of your hand and smack it
once with the other hand. This
helps release the essential oils
in the mint without creating
the debris associated with
muddling.
