Lychee Syrup

Ingredients:

o 1 cup lychees peeled

or canned

o 2/3 cup sugar

o 1 cup of water


Method:

1. Combine water and sugar

in a small pan and bring to a

boil stirring to dissolve sugar.

2. Reduce heat, add lychees

and simmer stirring until

mixture takes on a syrup-like

consistency.

3. Remove from heat press

the lychees to release the juices

and let steep for at least one

hour.

4. Double strain into an

airtight container discarding

the solids.

5. Seal well and refrigerate.
