Mojito

PH factor: 9.0

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 5 mint leaves

o 1 lime wedge

o 1 ounce Simple Syrup

(see: Syrups etc.)

o 1 ½ ounces Flor de Caña

Extra Seco rum

o Fever-Tree Premium Club

Soda

Garnish

o mint sprig

Method:

1.  Lightly muddle mint

leaves, lime wedge, and syrup

in a highball glass.

2. Add ice and rum and stir.

3. Top with soda.

4. Garnish with mint sprig.

Comments:

The Mojito cocktail originated

in Havana, Cuba. The origin of

its ingredients may be traced

to Sir Francis Drake’s

unsuccessful attack on the

island in the 1500’s.
