Nearly 100-Year-Old Cigar Cocktail

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o ¼ ounce Pernod Absinthe

Supérieure

o 1 ½ ounces Mount Gay XO

rum

o ½ ounce Johnnie Walker

Blue Label scotch

o ½ ounce Bénédictine D.O.M.

o ½ ounce Chartreuse (yellow)

o 1 dash Angostura bitters or

to taste


Method:

1. Swirl absinthe to coat the

inside of a cocktail glass and

discard excess.

2. Stir remaining cocktail

ingredients over ice in a mixing

glass.

3. Serve up in the prepared

glass.


Comments:

There's a lot going on here. It's

an after dinner or an after a

rough day when you’ve settled

into your favorite, preferably

leather, chair with no intention

of getting up anytime soon,

drink.

Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
