Ingredients:
o 2 cups firmly packed dark
brown sugar
o 1 cup white sugar
o 2 ½ cups water
o 4 cups pecan pieces
o 4 vanilla beans (split)
o 4 cups vodka
Method:
1. Combine sugars and water
in a saucepan and bring to a
boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer
stirring to dissolve sugar.
3. Let cool and combine with
remaining ingredients in a
glass container and store in a
cool dark place.
3. Shake once daily for two
weeks.
4. Fine strain into an
airtight container discarding
solids.
5. Seal well and refrigerate.
