Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 1 ½ ounces Heaven’s Door
Straight Rye whiskey
o ¾ ounce Lillet Rouge
o ½ ounce Bénédictine D.O.M.
o 1 dash Angostura bitters or
to taste
o ¾ ounce Demerara Syrup
(see: Syrups etc.)
Garnish
o lemon twist
Method:
1. Stir cocktail ingredients
over ice in a mixing glass.
2. Serve up in a chilled
cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with lemon twist.
Comments:
Very tasty albeit a little sweet.
Perhaps reducing the syrup to
½ ounce would make this a
true winner.
