Edel-Kirsch liqueur

o ¼ ounce fresh lime juice

o 2 ounces pineapple juice

o 1 dash Angostura bitters

or to taste

o 2 ounces Fever-Tree Club

Soda

1. Shake cocktail

ingredients except soda over ice.

2. Strain into an ice-filled

Collins glass.

3. Top with Club soda.

Comments:

The only thing anyone seems to

agree on about this cocktail is

that it was probably created in

1915 and probably in the

Raffles Hotel Bar in Singapore

and probably by Ngiam Tong

Boon. There are probably a

dozen camps of Sling Loyalists.

This is our tip of the hat to the

“must include pineapple”

crowd, who would probably

also garnish with a pineapple

wedge and a cherry. Enjoy.
