Ingredients:
Cocktail
o 2 ounces 1800 Añejo tequila
o 4 ounces fresh orange juice
o ¾ ounce grenadine
Garnish
o orange wheel
o Tillen Farms Merry
Maraschino cherry
Method:
1. Stir tequila and orange
juice over ice in a highball
glass.
2. Float grenadine on the
drink.
3. Garnish with a cherry and
an orange wheel and let settle.
Comments:
The above version of the
Sunrise has largely supplanted
the original 1930’s cocktail
which was created in the
Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix
Arizona and was made with
Crème de Cassis and soda.
