Where There’s Smoke…

Updated: May 29

PH factor: 9.0

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 1 ½ ounces Hennessy VS

Cognac

o ½ ounce Johnnie Walker

Black Label scotch

o ½ ounce Drambuie

o 1 bar spoon Monte Alban

mezcal

Garnish

o Tillen Farms Merry

Maraschino cherry

Method:

1. Stir cocktail ingredients

except mezcal over ice in a

mixing glass.

2. Strain into an ice-filled

Old-Fashioned glass.

3. Float mezcal on top of

the drink.

4. Garnish with a cherry.

Comments:

There is smoke here. The

mezcal floater sees to that.

The Cognac and scotch prove

that there is truly fire where

there is smoke. Meant to be

sipped. The resultant dilution

will do little to extinguish the

flames.
